Finally! After 5 years and 9 months of waiting, this painting is finally here.

I commissioned my brother to do this rendition of my favorite KOF Background:

AOFBGKOF96resize.jpg

It is supposed to be the AOF version at dusk, but he took some liberties in recreating it. The canvas measures 36x24 inches and is done in oil.:mr_t:

Now to find a suitable frame for it. Perhaps custom.

**Update.
Had the canvas framed. I didn't want something to extravagant:

Cool idea for a painting, definitely a great decorative item for a Neo Geo fan's living room.

Hey, that's fun.
That's one of my favorite backgrounds (music too) in 96.
Big canvas too, neat piece man.

Same here, fave BG and music from 96.

Damn, I'd love to have an oil painting of a BG of my choice, that'd be bad ass.

Pretty cool painting, that should look sweet hanging in the game room.

Haven't played '96 in a long time, but I think the Boss Team bg was my favorite (gondola tunnel with the crowd in the back.)

Great work, man. Seriously, I'd hang that up in a gameroom for certain. It's far and away my favorite stage in '96.

What really makes it great is how well it stands on its own. One needn't be familiar with the AOF/KOF games to appreciate the personality of this scene. That's true art!
