Oh my!! I have always wanted this guy back in 1990. Shipping from Japan cost a lot for this bad boy! Congrats!

Alright, thought this one is too cool to pass up on the scoops thread too haha (always wanted one of these bad boys).

Got a cool new addition to the CRT stable today, the big version (21" vs the 14") SF-1 Super Famicom TV combo unit with matching controllers. Internally is able to display the Super Famicom picture in RGB.

It's going to great with my 8-bit Famicom Sharp combo TV and the NEC PC-Engine Monitor combo I've got on the way :)

Beautiful tv+console combo! How's the CRT quality?

It's RGB so it looks amazing in person. Unfortunately I've never been able to take great CRT pics with my cellphone and also factor in the hipster IG filters on the pic haha.

Yeah shipping was pretty gnarly on this one. The biggest CRT I've shipped from Japan so far. Thanks! I love it :)

Oh, wow, I missed that you got it shipped from Japan! You're one lucky fellow, those things get damaged very easily during transport. I've heard a lot of horror stories about CRTs destroyed by bad packaging/careless shipments, happy to see that you've got it still in one piece and functioning!

I couldn't believe how big this thing was when I opened it up.

Spoiler:
That's what she said.

Now I just need to find a memory card...

Nice score, that cab looks great! CP could use some love, though.

Thank you! Yes I was lucky to get it, at first it was promised to another buyer but he backed down at the last minute.

I agree for the CP, that's next on my to do list.

For the panel, I tried to search for a replacement similar to the original MVS set up, however I could only find this seller on Ebay.

Not sure if this is the right way to go. Without going too off topic, is there another place I could get a replacement panel?

Surely but slowly building up my TG-16/PC-Engine collection and the Axelay I already have a NTSC copy but the PAL one was super cheap so I'm like why not. I could probably trade it at Retro World Expo next month in CT.

I've been fixing up a 1 slot and made a cp using a cpo from here.

My panel situation is different from your's.

I didn't need the top part so I trimmed. Nice quality, feels durable.

Nice panel!
Yeah my version has A a bit below B C D (which are perfectly aligned).

Oh found the version that might fit!
