power cut out

just come across a hyper 64 rev 2 cheap. It powers up for about 30 seconds on my supergun and cuts out, this new to me as i have never had one . can anyone help me please. thanks simon

What do you mean it cuts out? Also how strong is your power supply?

Yes the hyper 64 draws a lot of juice (about 7-8 amps I seem to recall ?)- what is the max current rating of the psu.

Not the rev 2, I believe the rev 2 pulls about 4-5A. My psu tops at 6A and have no problems with it. Rev1 might pull more though.

sorry not replied, looked at psu it pulling 5A top.
i think thats why. will have to check if i have a psu with bigger out put and see what happend

just to let you know it was my psu that was under powered.
