Powerbook Help with a network

I'm new to macs and I am trying to connect my new powerbook to the home wireless network (a netgear wireless router)

It says that an error occurred when I try to connect to it- any suggestions?

i don't know anything about this stuff, but knowing macs you probably gotta buy one of their airports.

by the way i have a mac and love it, so i'm not dissin'.

When I put my airport card into my iBook it automatically connected to my PC wireless network. I don't know why you would have any problems.
