Approval rating of congress as a whole = low
Approval ratings of individual congress people by their constituency = high
in other words, people hate other people's congress person, but usually like their own.
so don't use the president's abysmal approval rating as a measuring stick.
Oh and BTW, Congress "can't get anything done" because Bush is wielding the veto power like a cornered monkey with a bag full of shit. but hey soon republicans will have to distance themselves from Mr. Bush to give any candidate they put up a decent shot in 08' so within the next month you will see a meltdown of stalwart republican support, and it will all culminate with general petraeus's report on Iraq.

Fox News, and now The Wall Street Journal, you should actually make use of the freedoms you "hold dear" and actually watch government in action on C-Span, and not hinge on the sound byte you get from Brit Hume.
