Hey guys,

Since I am not all to handy and technical I wondered if you could help me.

I changed the games in my 4 slot and all of a sudden all games are blurred. I changed some again and the same effect.

I cleaned it out but I still get the same result...
Tried the system test and it's not the TV in the cab. Could it be the CMVS in it or some of the cables? Any help is appreciated.

Thanks,
Bas

For the slots, use a thick piece of cardboard that is slightly thicker than a cart PCB and wet it with some contact cleaner and insert/remove it a couple times. For the carts, just rub a pink/art eraser on the edge pins to clean them up.

Yeah, give everything a good cleaning. In my experience, 4-slots tend to be more picky than 1 or 2 slot mobos. May as well check voltage while you're at it.

This is how i clean the slots: i take a piece of cloth and soak it with rubbing alcohol. Then i wrap it around a credit card and insert the credit card with the cloth in the slot. I always go up and down with it, never sideways because that might move the little pins of the slots. I do this for al my cartridge based systems.

Using a cloth is iffy because if it has loops you can hook onto the retaining tabs for the cart slot pins and break pins off. But if that works for you then to each his own, just be warned.
