PS3 Repair Recommendations

I have an old 60G that died mid-play.
Disc won't eject and red light keeps blinking after letting it cool-down, turned-off every which way, etc.
Did a search in Tech already.
Watched the videos on Youtube and so on and it looks like it is possible to DIY.
Personally, I'd like to send it out to someone more experienced.

Curious if any of you have had GOOD dealings with any of the repair operations around, or if there if there is anywhere I should avoid.

More then likely u have the yellow light of death all u gota do is open it up an take off the old heat sink grease and add new one before u do that ur gona do the heat gun trick over it an it should be fine no need to send it of anywhere u can fix it Ur self :)

That's what I've been reading but, I'm kind of paranoid and might just send it to someone who's done it a few times.
Light actually blinks red - won't boot up/eject disc, etc.
Appreciate the reply.

I sent my PS3 out to be repaired.
Will let you guys know how it goes.
