For scart to BNC that cable should be fine.

You don't want or need a scan line generator with a PVM, and most PVMs cannot handle VGA (31khz). They are 15 KHZ only except for the L5 series and possibly some other "newer" ones.

How are you getting the video out of your CMVS to begin with?

Hi,

are you sure, cause it is written "Not compatible with the Sony PVM2030 monitor which use a 25pin d-sub input referred to as the CMPTR connector". I know that I don't need it but I wanted to get my CMVS on it.

the 2030 does not use BNC for RGB inputs, that's why it says that.

Your monitor should have BNC inputs and not need the CMPTR connector like the 2030 would.
