Question about SS games on NeoCD

I'd recently gotten SS 2 for my NeoCD, tried the blood code for almost an hour to no avail, then only by searching/reading this forum did I bother to look at my system and realize it was japanese, thus no english with red blood.

Anyway, that said, I've also heard frustrations about similar codes for SS3 and 4?
Given I'm planning on buying both of them soon, should I expect the same? Are there any options, apart from modding the system with a reigon switch to get around it?

Well from what I remember when I owned those titles on NEOCD, the blood codes worked fine (SSII was the only problem child of the series as far as the blood code not working). Although if this kind of thing really becomes an issue that you just want to get resolved fully, then maybe it's worth looking into a region switch.
