Obituary.

He died last night at the age of 90.
Even with him being that age, I was shocked to hear the news on the radio today.

The guy had a radio voice that's unmatched in style.
I'm sad to hear he's gone.
It's still a long life.

When I heard the report, it was stated that family has not revealed the cause of death as of yet.
The Obit states that he passed away in a hospital room.

Sad to hear. Though I never liked the guy's voice. It was very annoying. He voiced things wierd. In grammar he would speak a declaritive statement, but he would vocalize it as a question. The page 1, 2, 3 thing was a tradition, but still annoying.

Best to his family.

Not to speak ill of the recently departed, but I can't say that I ever cared for this fellow all that much. Harvey's nasal, insistent voice, coupled with a penchant for pushing outdated political views as indisputable facts, made him a constant source of irritation when I was still listening to AM and FM radio on a regular basis.

If you've never heard of Paul Harvey, this parody on The Simpsons will tell you everything you need to know about the man. Yes, his advice was usually as worthless as this clip would suggest.

I found his voice odd as well, but I truly respected him for telling the world how it is without sugar coating it.
