I watched it last night.

It's unbelievably good, cannot wait for "2.0 Division".

I was a little hesitant at first, because it's just a re-telling, but now I can't wait for it.

I also heard that NERV's security spotlights and flashing and WARNING ANGEL is as over the top as ever, haha.

It's a re-telling of the story, but there are changes, a lot.

Ramiel for example, the giant blue octahedron, is insane, just like Panzer Dragoon ORTA's last boss.

The music has also been changed and arranged, the final product is very good and very polished, seriously a must see, especially if you like the series.

This first movie gets to the end of Chapter 6 of the series, and I cannot wait for the rest to be released as well

Pretty cool news. I haven't watched evangelion in so many years. I'll have to check this out.
