Rot Need Help in Moving Tech Threads...

Ever since it got broken up into sections, I feel like the resident helpers just can't be bothered to click each one individually. I used to be able to get some good help here with stuff, but now it is much less easy to get that same help due to the fact there are to many sections for it. I just doubt my decisions when deciding where I should place a thread. It was great before, you throw a thread there, the better tech's just enter that single forum and pick stuff at their leisure. Now, it has to many sections/sub-sections. Some of those sub forums will get very little help. Personally, I am all for separating the console stuff to a separate forum. Boot or no boot could just be its own thread, controlled or started by a mod and stickied. A example of the frustration is when it comes to monitors. Where will I have better luck, asking in arcade tech support, asking in the monitor section?

I agree that Boot or No Boot as a forum is excessive and could just be a thread at the least. I think the three large sections are good without being too much though. Monitors and displays are VERY different from regular game hardware. Seeing how there's a Neo Selling and Neo Discussion, it makes sense to include Neo tech support too.

Sadly I agree. The usefulness of tech support pretty much collapsed as soon as it was split up.

It was a good idea, but we now see it looked better on paper than in execution.

Half the reason is it isn't being used properly. The other half is it isn't organized.

Arcade & Console could be made into just General Tech.

Neo Tech, General Tech, and Monitors & Displays are what is needed to so things are easier for ppl to find imo. Boot or No Boot could indeed be a stickied thread.

Properly moving all the threads into their proper forum is no easy task. Those 19,000 threads in Neo Tech alone need to be sorted through.

what would you want to put up there? If you ask me it should just be a minimalist page with the choices "NeoStore", "Forums" and "Archive". "Archive" leading to what the homepage is now.

Something, Anything man. lol It just seems kinda bland with what's up now. Just get rid of the whole dates thing and add something different.
