Hey folks,
Just finished my latest project, and it was quite the pain.

Samurai Spirits Box Set

Check it out & let me know what ya'll think.
As always, this project's done, but I value any
constructive criticism that may help future projects.

Wasn't sure is the BoxSet Idea would work & be
appreciated by mvs using NeoFreaks,
So let's hear some feedback. I dont want to make another
If everyone hates the idea.
Thanks

Wow bro! That is really cool. Very well done.
If had had all four Sam Sho MVS carts I would use that for sure.

Link's fine, just checked.
Server's being hammered.
Give it some time & try again.

Gotta say thanks, to BigBear for hosting these bad boys for me. <IMG SRC="smilies/smile.gif" border="0">

My connection would be crippled way worse under these loads.

Also thanks to our NG.com member Hinge,
who wrote me & talked me into taking this project off the back burner, and finally finishing it. <IMG SRC="smilies/smile.gif" border="0">

Wow this looks awesome!
Congratulations...good work.

Damn I wish I had a MVS at home to get my hands on these inserts! Well...I guess I've gotta live with my home Samurais <IMG SRC="smilies/wink.gif" border="0">

Oh and by the way: I'd love to see this kind of insert-set for KoF and FF series!!!

I printed the first of these badboys out....and ran out of black ink <IMG SRC="smilies/biggrin.gif" border="0">

My Impressions:

Well i did the front-back-side chop so I could print it out on my home printer....It's a pretty easy thing to do in n art program. The Spine art is a little wide, but with this type of set it'll look better side by side.

Looks good though...I'll post a pic when I get the whole set printed out.

Yea i made em for the easy way.
Download & burn to CD, & take to local quick/cheap print shop.
Their printers will easily handle the Black without having to cut it up.

As you say its pretty easy to chop up,
and usually a tad harder than putting it together, had I pre cut them up for yall.

Youll be thankful the spines a tad larger than u need.
It'll look right when there together, always look odd as singles.

Different printers will tuck & pull even distort those dimensions. Some will make em much smaller than others, every printer is unique.
So I try to strip to the happy medium.

However if you've ever seen a poorly stipped VHS box set, youll see what i mean.

When it's short, it's ugly as hell.
With a tiny bit xtra, your safe, & it looks good.

Plus, if your real picky, you can measure it out off your printer, then distort down to make perfect easily.

Cant be 100% on the digital side.
Its very case by case. All printers are different.
