Meh... my old ass eyes and slow button finger is very predictable. As with most times I play, I died on the stage 3 boss on 1cc. I might as well take the rest of the month off as I'm not going to get any better.

Hi guys,

it's my first time around, i just recently got into the shmup scene so i'm loving this.
I'm just dodging bullets and trying to catch everything on screen like crazy, any scoring tips?

It's your first time playing the game or the first time using unibios help?

Don't mind the old bitter guy that can't 1cc past the 3rd stage boss. ;)

I do have a unibios, will change it for a stock one for my next run.

PS- No unibios is mentioned in the rules, i'm sorry.

LOL... right.

Yes, I was joking. And yes, it's a given to NOT use any of the Unibios cheats for these monthly shmup games even if it's not explicitly stated in the rules. :D

Of course that no cheats seems obvious. I was just afraid that you couldn't use a unibios for any given reason.
Will give it another try tomorrow :glee:

OK, forgot there is something to be said for letting your weapon charge up and getting the multipliers. The Hell-Hound seems to be the easiest to do this with. Thanks for the reminder Whisp.

Anyways, outlasted the stage 3 boss on 1cc finally... albeit the boss timer ran out. :D Shitty rank probably as a result. Whatever, I think this is as good as it gets for me.

First time I've played since November (At whitecastle's).. before that was the July before that. Lost all of my ships on the one bitch of a section mid-3.

I can't take a pic because my phone is out of charge.

I'm on the honor system until this thing gets charged.

If I can get back in the groove over the next 30 days, you're all TOAST.

Scoring tip: abuse the charged shot. There are sections where you can pile up points with them extremely fast.


I use windina which isnt spectacular for it, but helps significantly in boss fights.

Use Dino246 for score runs but be prepared to pound the buttons and move around frantically to aim the pods.

The orbital saves you from the front but with bullets flying due to lesser firepower, its riskier.
