Want to sell my Sony XBR970 HD CRT as it has once again come back to me. Comes with the remote.

There's a shallow scratch that's not noticeable when it's on.

I have the exact same TV. They weigh about 300 lbs. There are "handles" near the front you can use but, picking it up is a two person job. GLWTS. Whoever gets that will be very happy...best CRT outside of PVMs.

Currently I have a Wega 36" and I miss my 27", as a matter of fact I got rid of my HD CRT...I really miss it, playing XBOX and PS2 progressive scan stuff is just not the same on an LCD...

Very true! I got 2 crts this month and gave em to a friend lol. They weigh way too damn much and take up too much damn space! While we're at it!! The rent is too damn high!!

This is what dreams are made of.

However theyre just becoming less and less practical. Weight, size and lack of screen size keep people from wanting them. I mean the biggest hd widescreen tube was 36" if I recall correctly or 34". We're use to 55" becoming the bare minimum now.

Its a shame SED never caught on.
