Stereo NAC advice

Another option that has worked well for me was getting a small 2.1 setup meant for computer audio, and hooking that up.

Yeah I thought of that, but would prefer to use the cab speakers for the NAC

I hear ya.

My Egret stock speakers sounded like trash anyway, and it was simple to fit the new ones in. Looks stock from the outside.

Sounds like going with the amp is the right way for you.
