Naturally, the controls are a bit awkward since it uses just one button. You get to use two strengths of attack ala Art of Fighting 2 (tap button for a Jab/Short, press it for Fierce/ Roundhouse).

All the moves are in thanks to it being a 32K cart. I honestly didn't think it'd look this good on 2600.

I bought this cart from Ralf Piolo for the kingly sum of $401. Looking for buried Atari 2600 carts? Just ask Ralf... if he doesn't have it, it probably doesn't exist.

OK... Prepare Yourself.
*hits a gong*

And now... Here's Mortal Kombat! In this one, you'd have to hold back to block due to 2600 controller limitations.

Hmm... OK, but how are you going to pull off all of the punches and kicks with only ONE button?
:D

Hmmm... here's one possible idea, using the AOF2 tap/press system:

Press button (While crouched)- Uppercut
Tap DB+Press button (while standing)- Sweep
Tap B+Press button- Roundhouse Kick
Tap button- Low Punch
Hold F+ Tap button- High Punch
F+ Press button- Mid Front Kick
Tap UF+ Tap button- High Kick
Tap button (WJ)- Jump Punch
Press button (WJ)- Jump Kick
DF + Press button (close)- Throw
F + Press button (close)- Knee strike
Hold button- Block

I have the actual FF2 famicom HK pirate cart :D

Go to my (long abandoned) web site if you want some pics...

web page

Go to the "8 Bit Famicom" section and it should be there. There is a pic of the cart and screenshots (quite funny ones too :D )

Those FF2 shots are hilarious, that Rockman 5 pirated game looked funny too . You could probably pass it off as The adventures of Rockman and Dark Wing Duck.

Wow... FF2 on the Famicom. These guys that did it must've known what they were doing.

This is really freaky, since it actually exists.
