SvC Chaos throwing

it seems like evertime i go for a throw that should work, it wiffs. Any reasons for this? And its not cuz im out of range, im right there!!! Like when someone lands from a jump and you try and grab them right when they land, it dont work. So any help would be gud

Are you sure that you're pushing the 2 buttons to throw or are you pushing 1 button?

If you're getting the whiff animation then the buttons are correct. Throw range in SVC is extremely close (by design). A lot of the jump-in throw setups from SSF2T will not work in SVC.

the actual physical presence of each character has to be touching for you to get a throw.. they have zero range unlike almost every other game.
