I've seen lots of posts of people using Krylon Fusion, vinyl dye and various other spray paints and products.
Anyone ever tried Plasti-dip? Seems like a winner. Put on a few layers. Don't like how it looks? Peel it off! It's kind of amazing.
It comes in a multitude of colors, not just white. You can even buy additional plasti-dip products to add a gloss, metallic, or pearl coat to the treatment. Otherwise you get a matte finish, just like vinyl dye or krylon fusion.
This is great because it doesn't have to be permanent. Again, don't like it? Peel it off. I think i'll end up doing this to my New Net City once I get it. I'm expecting the display bezel to be yellowed like damn near every NNC I've seen.
I think a pearl white coat would look sick on any candy cab.
Here's a video of the plasti-dip pearlizer used on a Mini Coop:
Here's a video of the plasti-dip being peeled off a car:
Hope this helps someone looking to paint, but not sure if they want to go with a permanent job.
