Uni Bios Help!

i just got the uni bios today and im having some problems with it. first off if i run the bios in arcade mode us, jap or euro i cant select my games with the select button. but if i put them in console mode i can select through my games fine. i even cleared the system memory numerous time and it still did not help with the select on arcade mode.i am using a candy cab with a six slot. im not using home sticks and all buttons work fine.also when i run through selecting games on console mode sometimes some games run with no sound and i have to reboot. any info anyone could give me to help remedy these problems would be greatly appreciated.

Make sure the 'game select' option in the soft dip options is set to free.
