Hi all,

I have an urgent question about such a cab.
I have the opportunity of buying a new one of this type, but I need to know one thing. Can I take it apart into seperate parts ? As a whole I would never be able to get it into my house (second floor of an old house in Amsterdam).

So.. I really need to get it into parts :(

Anyone experienced with such cabs ??

Please god, let this happen :D

BTW, cabs in the Netherlands are cheap, this one is new and DIRT cheap, that's basically what makes this urgent, since more people are calling this guy for this great cab.

Thanks for any help

BTW it looks like this

The guy himself doesn't know anything about it btw, he sees some screws, but not something that points to a simple deconstruction.

I can't help you but I saw the exact same machine on ebay (can't remember which country as I scour them all) so It might be worth asking the seller If you can find it. There is also the same model for sale with lightguns.

I've never actually taken that model of cabinet apart, but I can almost promise you that it will not come apart easily.

When I original bought my large style 6 slot cabinet, I literally had to take a crowbar to it and take it apart piece by piece and then reassemble it using screws.

It was a pain in the ass to be honest.

Arcade cabinets are not meant to be taken apart, so they very often do not use screws when they are assembled. They tend to use nails. Nails mean that everything has to be pried apart and if your not careful, you can crack the wood, scuff paint, etc...

Bottom line: If your careful and aren't afraid to go at this with a crowbar, sure you can do it, but if your only interested in a perfectly mint untouched cab, this is isn't going to work for you.
