What do you think of these MVS cart stickers I made

I thought I'd spruce up those rather plain looking MVS carts with some homemade labels to put on the front. How do you think they turned out?

I like em. They look kinda out of place with the vents there but they look good none the less. Not a bad idea. I might make up a few of my own for the few mvs carts I have.

Maybe I'll resize the labels to cover the entire cart, which would cover up the vents.

Covering up the vents would be the way to go. Without the vents coming out from the sides they would look a lot better.
Speaking of which, why do MVS carts have vents anyway? It's not like they produce a ton of heat.

There's not a whole lot of ventilation inside Arcade cabs. The wood is an insulator trapping or retaining most of the heat that's generated within. The casing is only present so the user can change out and identify the games easily.

But aren't the labels on the wrong side of the cart?

I mean, when you put it into a MVS mobo, they face down... :(

Well, unless the MV-1C ( vertical slot ) has them facing towards the front of the mobo... Which I don't know since I never seen an MV-1C.

Other than the fact that you're defacing what were hopefully original carts and covering up the vents which will ultimately melt the labels and probably the cart if you play long enough in one sitting...

THEY'RE NICE!!

Nice. I made some for my MVS that covered the section between the vents. they were like a inch and 1/8 by the width of the cart. I think i've posted them before.

My logic was coming from the fact that I've never had a home cart or an mvs cart get hot and I've played them for long sittings. Cut me some slack here frown

Would you like to host them Kazuya?
Sure! How big are they btw? If they are not too big, feel free to email them to me... if they are too big for email, let me know and we will sort something out :)

I first experimented with some glossy photo paper. I liked how the labels looked on the photo paper and used double-sided tape to adhere the label to the cart.

The labels themselves look cool, but sticking them on the cart like that looks chessy.

If you're gonna make stickers like that, either make custom labels for the top of the cart, or, like previously posted, you can make a sticker to fit in the area between the vents.
