I was originally going to title this one "What movies are you looking forward to this summer" but there are a few cool ones coming out before 2002 as well.
1) A.I. (June): I fear that being the huge Stanley Kubrick fan that I am may sour me on Spielberg's interpretation of this story, but I'm dyin' to see it anyway.
2) Final Fantasy movie (July): I hope it's as cool as the trailers....
3) John Carpenter's Ghosts of Mars (August): I pray JC's new film is good. Everyone thinks he's a hack nowadays...
4) Session 9 (August): This movie looks DAMN creepy! Who'da thunk it? A summer horror film that's actually scary? Damn!
5) Lord of the Rings (December): Yeah, I know the hype for this film is as nerdy as all the hype leading up to the "Phantom Menace", but I'm definitely gonna see this one.
6) Brotherhood of the Wolf (November): Now this looks like my kind of film... The hunt for a mass-murdering wolf creature in 17th century rural France.
I'm sure I probably forgot a few.
Just wondering what the rest of you are looking forward to....
