A Supergun allows you to play JAMMA boards on you TV.

Yes, the supergun is for the home. You can play JAMMA boards on it and you don't need a cab. It contains some of the same basic parts of a full size jamma cabinet, but you hook up to a TV instead of an arcade monitor and the wiring is usually contained inside a nice little box. Check out www.gwtrading.com for pics of their superguns. That's where I got mine.

Yes, a supergun just plugs into the jamma connector and converts the video/audio so it can be plugged into your tv and played in your living room.

You can make one yourself it only requires a little soldering.

Since you have a 4slot and it already has joystick ports and a headphone jack, you might just want to consolize it (make it a standalone unit without the need for a supergun). Go here for some pics of superguns and consolized mvs boards: http://www.sgrepository.com/modules/xcgal/

If you're not comfortable doing this, there are plenty of guys here on the boards that could help you. Just post a thread over in the wanted section and somebody will surely pick you up.

Actually I only got the board notthing else, well I have a cab TOTALY empty so thats why I was asking I know I want to put it in a cab, but its been hard for me to find an empty MVS cab here in California.

but then again the idea of playing inside house while Im building a cab (which I think I may have to do...sigh!) instead of having the cab in the garage

thanks for the info guys!!
