Hard to put a number on it, the disk systems push upwards of $100 loose; but yours is minty. I would say minimum I would take would be in the $350 range. Maybe much more. I remember having one of these in Okinawa, damn I should have brought it back with me.

Disk Systems do not go for $100 loose. They go for $100 complete. Plus, not all Famis get yellowed. It has nothing to do with how the owner maintained the console - it's just bad luck. But either way it affects the value. Since you have all the inserts / manuals etc for both, that adds a bit to the value. Plus it's hard to find a boxed fami. I wouldn't take less than $250 before shipping if I wasn't desperate to sell it.

Complete DS = ~$100
Complete Fami = ~$150 - yellowing = ~$125
Packaging in great condition = ~$25 extra

Actually I didn't know Famicoms were white until I saw that pic of the box, all the units I've seen (admittedly, not many) have been more yellow than yours.

Ope: You know that those can be AV modded pretty easily, right? I know you know people...

Maybe not, but the OP didn't say how much can I sell this to someone who has a knowledge of these things for? He said how much can I sell it for. I assumed his best route might be ebay where a lot of things are way overpriced. I see what you mean though.

Also that Zelda playbill in the FDS pic actually didn't originally come with the FDS (?) and it can be sold seperately for probably $20 as those playbills are pretty rare and especially for such a famous/popular game at that.

I almost bought a disk system yesterday. they had um for 3500yen but I didn't know the Fami/Disk combo requires 2 AC adapters, so I passed. You can however use batteries for the disk system which is cool I suppose. But Disk system is the only way to play SMB2 original... too bad.
