It's the best series after the AKI series.

It's 2D, there are 350 Wrestlers in the game, and you have 500 Slots to create. Almost every move you want is in the game, and the best part of the game are 4 VS 4 matches, which you can set to Tornado Elimination style.

/\ Actually you can create 500 edits. of the 327 or so default on the roster you can only edit one psychical appearance per wrestler. Still 500 is more than enough.

The most ironic part of this comment is that Fire Prowrestling is-－and always has been--the antithesis to the button-mashing games which came before it. Pro Wrestling for NES, the WWF games for SNES/Genesis, hell, even Neo-Geo's 3 Count Bout all fall into that category. In any case, if anyone's still confused as to why Fire Prowrestling is so popular, I'd have to say that it starts with the simple, technical gameplay and moves-on from there.

Truthfully, I didn't find out about R until a mere three months ago. My friend and I have been trying to download the import but there have been many complications. At least at this time, I can look around and find out any more info before hand. I have SO many customization options I want to do, i'm looking forward to this!

Got some more good news for you then. Just announced on the GameFAQs board for the game, the Japanese saves CAN be converted using PS2 Save Builder.
So expect some decent edit packs already downloadable by the time you get the game in your hands.
If you dont already have an Action Replay Max, make the investment, well worth it.
