Some people claim the white one has a better build quality, that is it doesn't suffer from the usual troubles the original black ones used to have, like dead pixels and faulty buttons.

It does have slightly raised start select and sound buttons also the square button problem has been fixed. If your in the market for a psp get the white one if you allready have one dont bother.

There great & cost the same as the other 1 (£125, 24,800yen) don't think I had any dead pixels on my last black 1 so hard to tell if the screens got better, square button deff better, & some say the d-pad is better too.

My white unit has 2 dead pixels, however the built quality for the buttons is a little better. They made teh bottom ones (volume, brightness..._ stick a little more out which makes them easier to press.

+ is it a nice color... but it is just really a color, nothing else.
