So I've got a region free DVD player I've had for a few years, it works great, but the only downside it that it uses component (which is not really a bad thing) but I'm looking to upgrade to one with HDMI. I've used this unit on my pvm with component and it looks gorgeous, however on my hdtv the picture is a little meh..

edit: it's roughly about the size of a wii laying flat, but a little more square-ish. I'm too lazy to take a pic for a giveaway thread.
