Windows Installer Error

I've already put this in unrelated topics, got an attempt and help and a mac advertisement..

I've got this error trying to install a few things, logitech cam drivers, and photoshop.


Title: "Windows Installer"
Inside the window:
"The Wiindows Installer Service could not be accessed.
This can occur if you are running Windows in safe
mode, or if the Windows Installer is not correctly
installed. Contact you support personnel for assistance.

[ OK ]

I've ran into this enough that it's really starting to piss me off. Any Ideas?

I've already tried going into admin tools/services, then win installer and turning it to automatic instead of manual, it didnt help...

Need more info like what windows version etc. you best bet is to try microsofts knowledge base and even download and install windows latest installer package.

Remember to try google also simply entering the error message will return much info on possible causes (http://support.microsoft.com/?kbid=324516 for example)
