Imho, don't narrow your search for a hard-to-find board: Take whichever one comes up.

You can always keep looking for the board you prefer. And someone will be glad to take your extra board off your hands.

Fair enough, and good advice. I guess my only stipulation then would be no conversions.

Well, it looks like Tyranix got his board, so if anyone else out there can hook me up, it would be appreciated. I'm looking for an original, non-phoenixed board and will go to 400$.

I have never and I mean never come across a cps 1.5 board that still had a non suicided Q sound board battery still alive. My CND is no exception, so if your looking for a purely battery powered board you just made a near impossible find futile. So yeah what you really mean is no boots.

Yeah, almost all Q-Sound boards are revived by now.

It's been something like 20 years since 1993. :D

No 3.6V Lithium-Ion battery would stand a chance.

But, some 3V Li batteries on the "C"board are still holding up.

Fair enough, I will defer to your wisdom in this.

I think the only conversions out there are using some Chinese hacks, which you wouldnt want to play anyway.

After the exchange rate, shipping, custom taxes, its going to be close to a $700 board.

Ya, that's what I figured. That euro conversion is a killer, besides, I would rather deal with people here in the community that I trust, but thanks for the help Mendel! I knew this was going to be a tough find, so I appreciate all the help I can get :)

Best advice is to be patient and be vigilant. They come up once in a while, but almost always get snatched up quick.

Failure. I made a huge Superman 3/Office Space type decimal error. Tops/Sophia sent out an email last night that had Cadillacs and Dinos on it, and I quickly messaged Ren here to say POUNCE, POUNCE. Problem is, I saw it on the list in my tired state as 8,400 yen... When in fact it was 84,000 yen. No longer the killer deal I thought it was. Sorry to get your hopes up, man :(

You may be able to talk Sophia down. They've budged on prices before for me, but that's definitely not the killer deal I thought it was originally.

What would be considered a decent price for this game?

I've generally seen between 250-350 over the past year or so, but I'm prepared to go a little higher to get one of my 2 grail games. :)

Ren's numbers are accurate, for a working board in OK shape.

If you selling: He's buying.

Don't hesitate to hit him up.

lol, no I don't have one unfortunately. I was asking just out of curiosity. I've seen a couple for sale recently but well north of the figures you guys are talking about.

Yeah, I've seen a couple on eBay, in Europe, for way way to much money. Blame it on the conversion rate, or the Taxes, or the added cost of shipping, or Euro Price gouging, or whatever.

btw, is it just me or have the asian pcb sellers on eBay been raising their prices lately?

Yeah, the asian sellers (mostly Korea) are raising their prices lately. Here's a current example, C&D board, original, no suicide battery, no label. $400 starting bid and $55 shipping. :(
