Apparently they fucked themselves by trying to strong-arm the people that supply the specific chili pepper they use and it backfired, so they lost a majority of their supply and can't make enough. I guess the pepper farmers are selling their own version now. The Sriracha company says it's a worldwide pepper shortage due to climate change but supposedly that's bullshit.

We use it primarily in cooking. Miso curry udon vegetable soup greatly enhances when you have sriracha on hand. As just a condiment it isnt quite as important. Plenty of other hot sauces, gochujangs, etc. available
