The most recent revision of the NeoSD Pro AES is currently riddled with problems, which can hopefully be resolved via firmware updates. Aside from a couple of Neo-Geo CD issues, I never had any problems with the old NeoSD Pro MVS.

There are certain Aes consoles that do not play nice with AES pro. There is a specific firmware update that fixes it. It's been a long time and I sold my pro awhile back. I did not have the same issues with the regular NeoSd. Good luck contacting customer support to get this issue fixed.

Did you try removing the pcbs from the cart and plugging them in directly to the console?

Essentially, yes. I have found the NeoSD is very sensitive to how it's plugged in. I run it this way so I never have to remove it after it's been inserted just right.

I mentioned before how the sometimes you need to shave the slots on the spacer (Case) and widen them a little so the pcb contacts make good contact. You would think that after all these years they would've fixed this issue but knowing TO's reputation I doubt it.

Yeah, I know the jack is there, I own the MVS and AES one. But let me know if plugging a cable in there works. I never tried it because I remember reading that it's not implemented.

Yeah, I guess I can try it, unless anyone else can jump in here with more info.

This is not good. For my earlier batch AES Pro, I had to request a 3D printed replacement plastic spacer from Yodd. I got it and it works.

The QC issues definitely seem to be a recurring theme with TO. I had been hoping they put this behind them and gotten the cart slot issues figured out.

Looks like they will be doing a final run on the darksoft mvs cart.

I ended up getting a NeoSD Pro for my CMVS and am getting pretty persistent graphical glitches throughout games. They are not major but they are irritating. Sound is good and everything works well otherwise.

I think it may have something to do with the power supply I got with this Time Harvest CMVS; a 12v 6a one. Has anyone else experienced this with a CMVS and their NeoSD?

If it's one of the newest batches of Neo SD Pro, they're having glitching graphics due to SD card incompatibilities. Try another SD card - sounds like Kingston brand works best with them. You may also want to join their Discord and hit Alex up for a beta testing firmware.

I bought a NeoSD Pro MVS and I also get glitches on some games.
So far, as weird as it sounds, lowering the 5V to ~4.9V helped remove all of the glitches in the NeoSD menu and in most games. Also, I get way more problems loading the game in RAM than when it's flashed into one of the flash ROM slots.
I don't think there will be a firmware that will solve all the problems people have on both AES and MVS.
For the asked price, it's very upsetting.

Which games are you having glitches with? I've preordered from the next batch of NeoSD Pro MVS so just waiting for it to be shipped, some of the comments are making me a little concerned about it.

Art of Fighting 3 doesn't seem to work in RAM without glitches, KoF 03 gets a Green Screen of Death after a while and I got some random Green Screens of Death on Andro Dunos and Bang Bead, both in RAM.
KoF 03 has graphic glitches if my 5V is too high (but still below 5V, ironically)

I'm glad I got the AES and MVS versions in the earlier batches, when they were reliable. I feel bad for everyone who bought the recent shipments based on the good reviews. I hope there's a solution to get these things up to par so you're not having to fiddle with them constantly.
