Which ones Jean? The redhead?? Based on proximity? I don't think they'd smell anything butt she hulk because ogress' don't smell nice, it's a rule. Green skin=ogress , another rule.

Or is there a relationship thing where cyclops is being a douche to wolvey because he's a jock douchebag?

So aside from the collecting aspect, does anyone here get into custom figures. I've kind of gotten sucked into watching toy videos where people are customizing their figures. Some of it is pretty creative, where they sculpt onto them. Some are just people doing some extra painting to make the figure look a bit better.

When I was a kid we would "borrow" nail polish and paint our little cars. Not quiet the same thing I guess.

Yeah, customizing designer toys was my main hobby for a long time. Been just painting on canvas for a while now, though.

I'm not specifically, but my buddy who is crazy into figs follows a bunch of people who do custom stuff so he sends me a bunch of links all the time and a lot of it is cool as hell.

I started with an Entry Grade RX-78-2, then did the two HGs in the pic and then the big boy MG Gundam in the last pic.

The little guys have all been fun to mess with, the MG was a pain in the dick. I partially disassembled it and glued some floppy pieces together and it is a bit more solid now at least.

I got an MG RX-78-2 this weekend. So far have only put together the upper torso and the little transforming jet it comes with.

I had forgotten how many runners MGs have 😂

Have you watched the Crafsman on YouTube?

And because I'm not in enough pain, I used a gift card I got for father's day and bought a Ver Ka Zeta Gundam yesterday. I've heard it's actually not as bad as the other one I did to assemble but man, I opened it up and so many runners. The box is huge.

Which version of Gramps is that MG? I have built a bunch of different ones:

1.0
1.5
2.0
Ver. KA
One Year War (a personal favorite)
Gundam: the Origin

Just curious:)

It's the only one you don't have apparently. the 3.0.
I have it. I just haven't built it yet.

My backlog is embarrassing. I could literally open a store. A lot of P-Bandai too. Accidental doubles because I couldn't remember if I owned them already. I've been selling off a lot of kits that I know I'll never have time to build or space to display.

When my mother started having cognitive issues, Gunpla became therapy for me. Would put on a podcast or some music and just lose myself in the process. The buying was retail therapy. I had to stop building when I could no longer safely leave my unfinished kits exposed because my mother had a cleaning bug. After a while, I never went back to it. I DID build a bunch of Zeon HGs as part of a monthlong project after we finally got her in a nursing home and that was a lot of fun. It was also the very last round of kits I ever built. I ran out of places to display them. That was a few years ago. I will continue to sell the kits that I don't think I'll ever be able to build but I will still have quite a few to occupy my time when I return to the hobby. I have both Neo Zeongs (Unicorn and the PB Narrative). Do I need both?

I've kept up with the Ver. Ka line as I really like it. I DID recently sell my FA-ZZ, and I sort of regret that but it's a beast and I don't know where I'd ever display it. A Ver. Ka Atlas Gundam is my dream kit. I will day one 2 of those and build it right away if they ever have the stones to produce it.

I still have my HG Dendrobium and I'm definitely keeping that. Maybe some day. Wish they'd have made a HG Neue Ziel as a companion piece.

I'll definitely pick up the RG Gramps 2.0. The RX-78-2 is still my favorite mobile suit of all time. It will never go out of style in my opinion. Someday I might even build my PG 2.0. That will be a project and a half.

I've had this little Jurassic Park jeep for a long time, but didn't have any of the figures. The girls use it with their dolls sometimes. But I was at an out of town game shop over the weekend that also had a bunch of toys, and I found these little figures. They fit in there perfectly, so I assume they were all part of the same line with the jeep originally. I was even able to use Grant's hand to grip the steering wheel.
