Ok so it looks like this

A few questions for anyone that might have one, seen one, etc.

First I'm pretty sure there isn't but is there any side art, decals, whatever? I'm pretty sure its just painted blue.

Next, how does the control panel on this one open up?

Where is the CPS2 mounted, easily accessible?

Also I assume its a horizontal monitor, but the CPS2 does have some vertical games right? So, rotatable monitor?

Last thing, how wide and tall is this cab

I have seen some of these with SSFII on them but I didn't spot any
side artwork decals. Now that I remember, I think I've seen one with
Dee-Jay on the side, not sure though.

Also, this is not an original dedicated CPS-2 cab. The closest you will get
to a CPS 1/2/3 dedicated cab will be the impress candy.

Looked around some more and found this pic

Although, the cab is slightly different, the marquee is extended up and part of the cab, not set on top of it.

Dedicated to SSFII, but not directly for CPS-2, changing TATING monitors
for shmups etc...

Ok understood, though since I tend to have a preference for US cabs and don't live anywhere close enough to get a candy, this one will do. I like how its looks also why I asked about the rotating monitor though because I know there are some vert shooters I'd like to have on cps2 if I could.

Take a look at my junk collection in my sig Lithy , my PS cab was origionally a Saturday Night Slam Masters cab.

It was indeed all blue , I didnt change anything other than removing the front lower panel in favor of putting in shelves for the console and games. Also relocated the monitor controlls to a hole sawed in the front left of the CP and the cp opens on a forward hinge with the hold downs on both sides which were added aswell.

Dimensions are as follows

28 1/2 inches wide at the base

34 deep at the base

67 1/2 tall

15 1/2 deep at the top

Control panel

40 1/2 at its widest point

13 3/25 deep

7 tall

29 3/25 from the bottom of the cabinet

Mine is on casters that add approximitly an inch & 1/2 to the height

Mine had/has a medium Res 25' Zenith non rotatable monitor in it.

Its been a great cab ,espicially with the 35watt Q-Sound amp in it :D

..i think most vertical shooter on the cps2 works on the horizontal moniter(they just scroll vertically like gigawing and 1944)..i got someting similar to it...it's black not blue

That's not true -- I know for sure at least 19XX is a vertical monitor game. I don't know if there are any others.

Wasn't there some that had the yellow and blue Capcom logo on the side?

The default brazilian one-size-fits-all CP2 cab was 99% the same of that (1st) pic. The only difference is that the marquee place is in the same block of the rest of the cab.

They had the Capcom yellow/blue logo at the sides, and a "Capcom <something> entertaiment" between the speakers. And they were vertical monitor compatible (the outer monitor frame should me replaced, I think). There was a plnty of 19XX cabs like that here.

Default 6-button layout.

They were used in some later CPS1 games, too.

A too sexy cab, if you ask me ;)

I would have replied soomer but I havent been around for a bit but anywho...

Rough guess on weight I would say about 200 pounds or so. Mine is easilly handled bye two people and is only marginally heavy when using a good appliance dolly. Compared to older cabs like my A.P.B. { which weighs in just under 500 pounds :loco: ) that are made of old-school thick as hell plywood ,this thing is almost a pleasure to haul up stairs :glee:
