I've had this for years, but never got around to getting a cab that could play it. So, up for sale it goes.

It's a new, unused CPS2 kit of Super Street Fighter II: The New Challengers, A+B boards. Comes in it's original packaging, with new artset, wires, everything. Apart from some small shelf wear in the outer box and one tear in the plastic bag the manual comes in, beautiful condition. Naturally, it's untested.

To tell you the truth, I have no idea what this is worth. I think the boards are pretty common by themselves, but not sure if they are rare in kit form, let alone brand new. But since a price has to be declared, let's start with (300 euros). SOLD! for 250 euros shipped.

I'll lower the price if no one bites, but please feel free to make any kind of offers even before that.

Payment by PayPal, will ship worldwide. Send me a message so I can calculate shipping.

You should probably boot it up once to see if it's actually alive heh.

It's probably best to put that on ebay. Most collectors won't touch it since it's most likely dead, who knows if the battery is spilled everywhere, too. If it boots up then you got yourself a nice piece of kit.

Got a decent enough offer for 250 euros shipped, so the item is now ON HOLD.

Received the kit today, absolutely pristine item, very nice.

Anyways, popped open the b-board and it was mint inside, no battery leakage! So, plugged in my supergun, hooked up the b-board to the a-board and hooked that up to the gun and...

Fired up first time! lol...

Was really expecting it to be knackered, but it works like new. Who knows how long the battery will last, but this one at twenty years old, still works.

BTW, is this a record? :loco:

Seriously...I would have swapped the battery before even booting it up.

meh, I wanted to see if it worked. I was more interested in having a nice fresh A-board to be fair than the Street Fighter board. I'll get the battery swapped soon... it's lasted 20 years so a few days won't hurt I'm sure.
