Cap. vs SNK 2: the greatest game ever made???

Ok from what i SEE from all the screenshots and the trailer...Capcom might have done it right this time. This also might be one of the best crossovers EVER MADE!!! Forget that is coming out for PS2 only(and dreamcast JAP) but just look at the facts. With more characters, more grooves, all types of cool stuff(damn...im starting to sound white(no offense))!!! They put in characters that deserved to be in the first one(yet no Darkstalkers yet...) plus more SNK people liek Haomaru(?) and stuff!!!!

all im saying is that Capcom vs SNK 2 might possible be the greatest game made to date(sans MGS 2: SOL)!!! There I said it!! <IMG SRC="smilies/glee.gif" border="0">

i feel it to be true. fans of the original can expect this to be maybe THE BIG ONE.

I'm trying to not get to excited, but I can't help it. If you notice, I've made most my posts in the last week in this forum alone. Well, hell yes I'm excited about the game, for I cannot wait to see how they pull some characters off (like Haoumaru and Rock). I'm VERY excited, and will get the DC import at the very first opportunity I have.\

I just found out from the "news" section, that some guy that's trustworthy says it's coming to the US. I'm still getting the import, because I can't wait any longer!

Unless Capcom goes out of their way and really puts some EFFORT into this game, I think this game will end up being the sad sequel to Capcom vs SNK.

From what I've seen, they're just upping the anti with more characters, flashier backgrounds and the same shiat they do to their sequels. But what needs adjusting is the actual game engine and the playbalancing.

The sprites should at least look somewhat related, no more reused alpha/mvc sprites. Gamebalance is a must, especially a reevaluation of all the moves in the game. Some moves on the capcom side have way too much priority and not enough cooldown.

Capcom might go as far as fixing the main problems, but they need to pull an SNK and redo everything to balance over, not just tweak a bit here and there.

Knowing Capcom's previous track record, this game will be good. Capcom has never made a bad sequal when it comes to there fighters. Never in Capcom's history have they ever made a bad sequal. Capcom is deffinatly going to make up for there previous mistakes, they always do...However, its still a good idea to be cautious. Though its been very hard for me not to get exicited, its best to keep a low expectation of CvS2, just incase...

YeldellGW is right you can't judge a game without playing it first they might still screw something up.

I don't mean to dim anyones spirits, but the first game sucks in comparison to REAL SNK fighters....

And the sequel (which I DID play) isn't much better.

Capcom sucks.

Well.. I'm pretty excited over the CvS2 graphics, characters and the grooves that will be in the game. But anyway, even if some people didn't like it, I'll still like it, since the first game is one of the best ever, IMO.

Oh please Kamui spare us!Your drowning in your own swill.Fundamental Gameplay and System has NOT been improved for each sequel at all!

StreetfighterAlpha3 has the stupid juggle system which fuks the game up even you admitted it yourself (u prefer alpha2)!
CrapcomVSMasher2 assists ruin the whole game case closed!

KOF is so far ahead of Capcom at this point its almost like an unattainable height for capcom now.
I'll still play it and like it.. but deep down I know that it will probably not be as good as KOF, so i can't be over hyped.
