What's your impressions? Is it better than the prequel?

BTW: Does it run on Low, mid or high res?!

You can get a used PCB for around $700 from ECL I have seen videos of the game, and the boss fights are insane! I hope it's standard res.

Just got the first ESPGaluda off of eBay. It's great you can still get new ones for the PS2

The videos of ESPGaluda 2 are pretty cool, looks similar to 1:

By the way, is Espgaluda II, Ibara in standard or medium resolution? Jesus, I hope it's standard

Bump! KLOV doesn't have this information yet. Can anyone tell me if they can play their game just fine on a standard resolution monitor?

For some reason, I figured the games would be at a higher resolution because of the new hardware CAVE used.

AFAIK there is no plans for Cave to release any hi-def shooters at the moment. And the hardware being used is not that big of a jump over previous offerings, its just a tweak here and there of the origonal hardware. For hi-res you need at least ATW or Naomi at the bare minimum.. and besides, going hi-res is normally associated with polygon based shooters, Cave shooters are all sprite based.

I'm assuming it's still their third generation of hardware based off the PGM. From the movies, at least, it looks it still is the same.

Dunno if any of ya have the juice, but I got a Espgaluda2 full kit in like new condition, complete w/poster possibly for sale. $790 shipped if I decide to let it go. Kinda on the fence about this one.
