This is the going rate for this game. Not sure why everyone's getting so excited. Must be because ResO touched it lovingly :keke:

I paid around $150 for mine last year then watched at least 2 or 3 others come up for $100 on other sites. Look up eBay completed listings. $150 is actually at the high end. Must be one of those forum anomalies. Usually stuff is cheaper on here but not always.

Thanks for the clarification, I guess 150 is fair then, looked it up a bit...not high end though, you may have seen some 100USD boards but that was just luck more than anything else.

The thing with CPS1 is that they are rather faulty, ebay sellers could send you crap...having access to a CPS1 board from a fellow forum member that knows what's up can be a relief.

Absolutely!

Hey, nothing wrong with $150 shipped either. Board looks nice and clean, and I'm happy with mine at that price.

In all fairness last year this board was selling at a premium regularly at 175-200, the good news is it's not uncommon so the price came back down after there was a run on them. The bubble appears to have popped and it's back down at a reasonable level. Great game and it's worth 150 shipped all day and with the A board fail rate the price could only continue to increase over the next few years so even if you paid an extra 10-20 bucks it won't devalue on you.
To the op, GLWTS great game someone will be lucky to get it.

Eh? I've been seeing them at $120 last year and the year before $100. I've never seen them actually sell for 175-200 just listed then taken with an offer. I don't think any bubble has popped.

There was lots of discussion on this as it reached over 200 on Klov, when months before it was a 100-120 dollar game.
Sure you can find examples on the last couple months on auction style listings where they went cheaper, but there was certainly people paying it and as you see just two months back some dummy paid 220 (USD conversion on that one)
If you take every sale and averaged it out over the last 3 months after shipping it's over 150. But like you saw yesterday sometimes you get a bargain :-)

Game is common as hell so no need to overpay. eBay BINs do not indicate market value either. Only count auctions, and then with a pinch of salt, and minus the fee. Average is under $150 net on eBay auctions.
