GBA battery backup question!

Been looking through a case full off GBA games I've had since 03/04, know would I be better removing the batteries from them to stop them corroding over cartridge or are they fine to just leave alone?

Don't want to come back to them in 10 years and there all knackered!

If you're waiting for another ten years before you start playing them, the batteries would probably all need a change anyways.

I've got NES games from the 80's without any battery corrosion. Dead batteries, sure, but no corrosion.

lithium batteries don't really have the problem that say, the neo board does. Those are ni-cad batteries that leak like that (among others, including alkaline), but if you're worried about leakage with coin cells, I wouldn't.
