I miss my mom, yo.
Sage, your experience in China is a concrete spiked wall that is slowly inching towards your soul, your back against another wall, nowhere to run. You are merely waiting for things to get worse. You have all the knowledge, you have all the cards, it's time to play them, not because the game is almost over, but because the casino is about to explode, and you have a chance to cash in the tokens and survive at the same time. You have the torch of WISDOM.

It is time to leave Beijing.

Everything yesterday made me question why the fuck I'm still here, in love with someone who has changed into a hardliner nationalist within the past ten years. Kill me Bobak.

I will say this. At this point, I will not separate the people from the government here any longer.
If in ten years of relationship you have not been able to change your girlfriend's mind, in the future her situation will not improve, because as she gets older she will only become a much worse person than she already is, besides, for the mode in which the China is currently moving now, what makes you believe that in the future this nation will not become like the North Korea? (Where all citizens are forcibly isolated in a dystopian world: in which Kim is described as a god descended to earth, which commands an army of military that shoots to anyone is being seen crossing the borders?).

By now you have already obtained your qualifications and your necessary experience to be defined like a professional, go back to North America and say goodbye to your mother and if you don't like the USA anymore and you feel homesick for the Asia, go to a country that is socially okay: like the South Korea or even the Japan.

Alternatively you can always try the Europe (if you are interested in living a quiet and peaceful life).
