You forgot about pirates.

I always thought a pirates vs. ninjas flick would be cool as hell.

Never thought about adding zombies to the mix. That just takes it to a whole 'nother level.

only one problem: according to harrison there is only "junior" in the indy canon, and that's indiana himself. so shia will not play his son, but instead probably a 50's greaser student that gets tangled up in indy's adventure.

Are you sure? A number of places I've read are saying that Shia is playing Indy's son.

I'd actually prefer he didn't, though.

whether or not shia is playing indy's son at this point is just speculation, never confirmed either way.

that's why i'd rather believe harrison's comment at the moment... as he is the man with the hat.
(then again he just might be holding back some lame plot twist that reveals shia as indy & marion's lovechild)

I can understand people not caring for Temple of Doom or Last Crusade, but to say Raiders is shit has no merit whatsoever.

it's a totally different beast. I'm still wondering what was in Spielberg's mind when he decided to shoot that crazy dinner scene. That was just gross and un-fucking-called for

but Last Crusade? Why do some people dislike it so much is beyond me. IMO it's worth watching for Connery's performance alone.
Yeah it has some disastrous special effect but I don't see how it's THAT much worse than Raiders

i always thought the last indiana jones movie should be HIM vs the secret societies in america; finally exposing most of them to JFK shortly before his assassination, tying indy into real history in a bizarre, metareality twist.

alas, someone made the worst movie ever, national treasure, and my idea was shat upon.

...is torn apart in a blue light. Shia lebouf left standing next to a pair of smoldering boots with only the ankles and frying flesh left, and drifting down out of the night sky floats down Indy's fedora.

The kid picks it up.

"I'll miss you man." (Beat), "but I need to get some sleep and get laid." He drops the hat on the ground and walks off.

and then when harrison ford is nearing death in real life.

Indiana Jones 5: Escape From The Lost Dimension.

His no footed self on an alien power chair, wheezing and clutching onto his whip as he attempts to escape his fate. Coming back into our dimension he loses both arms, and arrives in time to see Jesus Christ throwing Satan into the lake of fire after the 1,000 year regin of Heaven on Earth. And indy starts to cry and takes his last breath.

It's true. They are pretty great...although you may want to ask yourself some tough questions if you're "exploding with glee" when you see old men.
