Interesting looking Neogeo CD

Take a look at this Neogeo CD. The guy refinished the unit and painted it red. It actually looks kinda cool.

First of all, yes it is gay. Second of all i could do that in 10 minutes. Third of all you can still see the black standing out. Fourth of all it is an ugly color. Fifth of all it damages resale value. Sixth of all it is a discrase to the Neo name. Seventh of all... oh, I give up, I don't like it. It is gay....

The original black color looked a lot better. Painting is just stupid, and the system looks craptacular painted in a solid red or any color for that matter.

I like the Idea....but spraypainting your system isn't too smart......If you do...don't use a shiny finish...use a flat finish....it won't look so cheesy....Hey whatever makes you happy. I don't really think the pictures show what it really looks like....I think that is something you need to see first hand........It certainly though does decrease the value of the system.....Hey maybe you can get it cheap now.... <IMG SRC="smilies/eek2.gif" border="0">

Frankly, I prefer the original matte black.

I always like seeing custom stuff like this. Red my not have been my choice, but it's interesting anyways.

But why not take it to a body shop and have it professionally done with a nice clear coat finish? Maybe slap a Ferarri insignia on top? After all, everyone knows "a lick a red paint makes it go fasta" <IMG SRC="smilies/glee.gif" border="0">

I painted my N64 white to match the V64 that sits below it, and i thing it really looks good. i used a flat white color though, and the two units look incredible when put together... i for one like the custom units.. just not red though..
