Just got this from my Aunt for X-mas. Is it cute or just too gay to have around the house?

Is it any more acceptable to put it next to my sock monkey that I made myself 9 years ago?

i used to collect those things when i was about 9. i had amassed a pretty worthwhile collection since at that time they sold for quite a bit. but then the market fell out and they're worthless. so sure from my vantage point it's cool, keep it around.

Sock monkeys seem to make a resurgence every so often. I made mine and another one for my niece but otherwise it was rare to see them except for a random Paul Frank item. Now since they showed one in the god-awful Mr. Magorium movie, I guess they're popping up in stores again.

I actually have too many gay little stuff animals things that women have given me. Mind you I don't have a lot, but it's still too many. They sit in a box in the garage. Although I guess the Totoro and Gossamer are ok.
