Alright guys, Its come to the time of year where I ask any and all of you to donate in memory of Jigen.
As many of you know, but some of you may not, We lost Jigen (Clint) In a 20, almost 21, year long battle with Cystic Fibrosis. He was considered to be an important member of this website, as well as many others.
Clint died on June 14th, 2003, though it seems as if it was just yesterday.
This walk/fundraiser, is extrememly important to our family, and we ask you to consider it special to you as well.
How do I donate?
Thats an easy one! All you have to do is click Here!
(If that link doesn't work, lemme know, kay? Thanks!)
How Much should I donate?
Well, this is entirely up to you. My personal goal is $3,000!
You can donate anywhere from 1-1,000,000!
How long do I have?
Well, we can take donations up untill the day of the walk, which is May 2nd.
Just remember, It takes atleast one week day to go through!
What Is Cystic Fibrosis?
Cystic fibrosis (also known as CF, mucovoidosis, or mucoviscidosis) is a hereditary disease affecting the exocrine (mucus) glands of the lungs, liver, pancreas, and intestines, causing progressive disability due to multisystem failure.
Is there a cure yet?
There is no cure for CF, and most individuals with cystic fibrosis die young: many in their 20s and 30s from lung failure. However, with the continuous introduction of many new treatments, the life expectancy of a person with CF is increasing to ages as high as 40 or 50. Lung transplantation is often necessary as CF worsens.
But the CFF uses the money raised by this walk, to fund research for a cure.
Feel free to ask any questions you have, and have a great new year
