Moving to CT from NJ was one of the smartest things I've done in the last few years. From a financial point of view I'm actually saving a shit load by moving up here. Living in the northern part of the state was a mess due to traffic, bad attitudes, and people being downright miserable trying to one up their own neighbors. I do miss being able to be near my old friends and I do visit regularly. However, living in the state for over 20+ years was enough for me.

As for the corruption in this state, if you live across the river you know that it's been going on for years. This shouldn't be a surprise to anyone within the tri-state area.
