For so many years when I subscribed to gaming mags, I wished they would interview the people who made the games. As it turns out, of course that's what they did in Japan.

I have actually come across with European magazines that covered console games, computer games or both with a plethora of interviews with developers during with Wikipedia shenanigangs. So, it seems that Japanese and European magazines from back in the day frequently featured developer interviews.

In some of the worst cases, developers interviews were featured in online magazines distributed via BBS prior to the masification of the Internet into the public, some of which might have been lost to time.

I wish more people supported shmuplations' translation efforts though. Who knows how much knowledge is still locked out due to the language barrier. I would also love seeing shmuplations host some of the developer interviews translated at websites such as Gamengai, which contained features with Toaplan and Data East
