Alright, I'll participate:

I'm a big fan of blue jeans. I wear them everywhere. I don't have a brand preference.

As far as shirts, go, I'm partial to white ones.

I do occasionally like to wear black ones, though

As for footwear, I'm not a shoe guy. I wear sandals everywhere. Even in the snow. I have no idea what brand I wear.

Me too. I don't know how much they were, but if I had to guess I'd say at least $2500.

Well, now I know where I'll blow my first $2,500 if I win the lottery!

I can't believe anyone would call Soilwork's ensemble hippy, there's a much clearer sartorial inspiration here:

Damn apple fanboys :shame:

They only serious difference are the Birkenstocks, which needs a little commentary :D

THE BIRKENSTOCK

The Birkenstock is classic granola lesbian footwear at its finest—and most time-tested. For eons, these warm leatherettes, wholly lacking in personality, have been a staple in the lesbian shoe department. A pair of Birkenstocks represents an easy, slip-on lesbian identity that all but guarantees an adventurous camping trip, a ride share to Lilith Fair, and a 30-year relationship with a female Unitarian minister named Chris who loves earth tones just as much as you do.

IF THESE SHOES COULD TALK: They would speak in crystal vibrations.

It also reminds me of that Jane's Addiction incident (my best friend in grade school-HS wore Birkenstocks so I ribbed him when this occured):
1990 - Hollywood Palladium

This show is home to the infamous "Birkenstock Incident" where a fan in the crowd tossed a Birkenstock onto the stage at the end of Ain't No Right and Perry goes on a rant saying:

"Oh, there's that same asshole again. I thought it would never come to this. But the guy threw a Birkenstock! I mean this guy is a real moron. He doesn't even understand fashion!"

Seriously though, the only pressing question is: do you wear socks with your sandals?

Jokes aside, I know you have good taste in boots, Wes ;)

random button up, short sleeve or rolled up long sleeve, unbuttoned two notches from the top. It has to have a design of some sort (plaid or matrix is fine) but no flowers or other frilly shit.

levi's jeans, slim NOT skinny

sneakers

black socks

T-Shirts in the summer. Usually something with a "cool" design.

that's me 360 days a year more or less.

Great thread.

Snapped this before walking out the door this morning... I would consider this my regular rotation.

Picture095.jpg

Not pictured would be white-casual x2, brown-casual x2, black-casual, brown-dress x2, running shoes, mowing-the-lawn shoes, and snow-scooping shoes.

We'll continue tomorrow with belts!

Very nice. I love belts as well, but again, I can never find one that will fit my mighty waist. I'm stuck shopping at big and tall shops for stuff like that.

At least my feet are on the top end of 'normal' sized (size 13).

Here's an update to my bow tie collection. Totally up to date:

Love the new Tom Fords. I also got a couple from the Cordial Churchman. I like the cotton diamond point (plus it was cheap, so that's a plus), but the blue velvet was of disappointing quality, fabric-wise. Still, it's not unwearable or anything.

My casual wear is all hoodies, sweatpants, and Famous tees.

Some T-Shirt hell as well.

I do have a few Michael Toschi dress shoes however. Gotta dress up sometimes I suppose...

hahaha... 1999 flashback.

I can't roll with the bow ties and pointy shoes. Next ting you know you'll be bragging about you sock garters.

Like others t-shirts, loose jeans/chinos/cargos, running/skate,tennis shoes, baseball hats.

Beanies and hoodies maybe a track jacket when it's chilly.

I can dig wanting to have your clothes make a statement or fit you personality but fuck that I'd rather be comfortable. A tight neck and sport coat do not fit that criteria.

Even at work I pretty much dress like roker, rolled up sleeves and all.

Not even I wear sock garters.

Now, obsessing about the socks themselves... I love a good sock. It's a semi-intimate area, and if you show some flair there, people will really get the idea you have a sense of style.

I've never been as into socks, but I did in the past few years get into socks that are genuinely comfortable. It started when someone recommended Nike's Dri-FIT socks and I was pleased with them, my feet hurt less when walking long distances. So I headed over to my local REI and bought several socks good for walks and comfort --I still wear my black Nike Dri-Fits with a suit because, other than the swoosh on the high up part, you can't really notice (and it's nothing a black sharpie can't take care of).
