Ohio/PA meet

Just had a thought yesterday visiting with Real Bout Maniac. How does anyone feel about a "regional meet" of sorts? I have found, I think, at least 7 people who live within an hour or 2 from my house, so maybe I could host a meet of some sort. I don't have an MVS cab of any sorts, but anyone who has a MVS to AES Converter could bring it and we could do it that way.

Kinda interested in meeting up with people. As I said before, as did I yesterday, The NG people in these forums are alot friendlier and more willing to meet with you than my former "retro" contacts/friends. Maybe it's a phobia with them or something. I'd always thought they can't be in direct sunlight or something. Who knows........

Anyhow, let me know what you guys think. I am pretty much dead in the middle of all the people I have met nearby, so hosting isn't a problem at all.

I only have MVS games, though. I could bring other games and systems as well, if you don't mind it being multi-platform.

Chances are, it will be on a Friday night/Saturday depending on how far people would be wanting to drive. They can crash out/pass out here at my place until Saturday night if they want to.

Blaine, I have WAYYYYYY to many platforms right now.
I have 60+ systems right now, but I would still be interested in doing it if it was a console I had never seen nor played before..........

An MVS Converter would be cool. I don't really see anyone wanting to haul a MVS Cab over to my house for one night, but then again, some of you guys are diehard

Once enough of you have responded and are interested, we'll try to decide on a weekend to meet up. I'd like to do it while the weather is still nice.

Hours *may* be changing at work, as I'm looking into a new position there, but as long as I have enough notice I can be sure to get someone to cover me if needed.

If nothing else though, I'm only an hour away from you Bill so it still wouldn't be that much of a problem.

As I said though, definately count me in - I still owe you some payback for that spanking you gave me in Baseball Stars 2!!

Bill's in Portersville, PA, which according to Yahoo maps is about 161 miles or so from you (assuming you're coming from State College), which is roughly 2 1/2 hours.

Something I MUST try!

If anyone can bring another Home Neo, we can have a kickass 4 player League Bowling game. Not sure if we need another TV for that or not, but that won't be a problem. I have C-64 monitors.....
I'm pretty sure that "link cable" is just a standard 1/8" jack on each end, like a headphone jack-type cable. Then again, I may be wrong. Anyone know? My LB doesn't have a manual. <img src="graemlins/loco.gif" border="0" alt="[Loco]" />

Bill,

I just checked my League Bowling manual, and you *do* need two TVs or monitors.

But as long as you can hook one of the systems up to the Commodore, we should be all set (assuming we can find something comparable to the Neo link cable).

As long as we can find something to work, I'll bring my system and copy of the game over.

Thanks for making me feel welcome. If it's the last weekend of this month I might actually be able to make it! Unfortunatly I collect arcade machines, not AES, and I just learned about the Neo about a month and a half ago. So, I've only got MVS games right now. Here's what I've got, if anyone has a converter and any interest in me bringing them let me know.
