Poochy...um I don't know about that one

When I looked at the Matrimelee site, I was like this is gonna be the shit. But then I looked at some of the pics which displayed one of the wierdest looking characters I've ever seen in a fighting game! His name's Poochy I think, and it's a guy sporting a dog outfit, snout, ears and all. Now what's up wit dat?

Maybe the addition of such a character fits, but until some of the story behind Matrimelee is exposed, we may never know.

ps. who thinks this it's lame character design from the get go? I think so!

You guys are fucking lame. How about King in Tekken, did he ruin that game? He is a guy who fights in a dog suit, that is so cool that I am shivering just thinking of it.

You can all look to Poochy and say, fuck NPI (I am calling it that, so fuck off), but he is really the reason I am interested in this game at all. This game is going to rock, and I promise you that Poochy will be one of my favorite characters in this game... even if he is ass to play as, I will master POOCHY!

But yeah, I agree with what you said... I love weird and whacky stuff like this, so I think Poochy is going to be a fun character. It's for the same reason I like games like Waku Waku 7 (although I don't think any game could top the brilliance of that game

).

Using King isn't good for comparison. His mask looks realistic and can pass for a Luche Libre one, whereas Poochy's mask looks like a doggy cartoon reject that's ODing on somethin.

But I can see the appeal behind such wacky character designs. It is original. Even the ridiculous paw slippers he's wearin. loco

Yeah, I realized that paragraph could easily be read wrong. I meant... King, wears the cat suit and it is ok... And Poochy is a man in a dog suit... guess I phrased it wrong.
