BTW, if anyone remember the year 95 that MLB brought games back, most franchises, you can literally go to watch the games for free (at Houston Astros' case), or if you go there with paid tickets, some stadiums will even give you vouchers for hot dogs and drinks.

I wonder what the scenario will be like for NHL the day games come back, ie, having players begging at arenas' doors for people to come watch games, I'd say it's not far fetched. Tony Gwyn did that for the Padres by greeting fans at entrance, personally I'd like to see the owners locking out players as long as necessary to a point when they can just hire other minor leaguers as replacement and shakeup the league with aforementioned structure, it's painful yet necessary.
